Build

Translates the objects on the page to code, compiles the code into a program and, downloads the program to the controller

Start Debugging

Allows you to test a program which has been downloaded to the controller.  The current values of each connected output slot are shown on the page.  You can test your program by overriding inputs and network variables to simulate any actions required to test the program.

Start Simulating

Allows you to test a program directly in Catalyst without the device, but with limited functionality (i.e. input from hardware programming blocks will not be available).  The current values of each connected output slot are shown on the page.  You can test your program by overriding inputs and network variables to simulate actions to test the program.

Stop Debugging

Stops debugging mode.

Program Status

Provides a dialog with status information about the program running on the controller. The dialog also allows you to restart the program and reboot the device.
