Saving Snippets

Catalyst allows you to save and reuse groups of programming blocks, links, text, and images. Saved groups are referred to as ‘Snippets’.

►To save Snippets:

1.Select a group of blocks, links, text and images that you wish to save.

You can save any group of objects on the page as a Snippet.

2.In the menu bar, click File > Export Snippet.

A dialog box will open for you to name the Snippet and to select a directory. The ‘My Pictures’ directory will be selected by default but you can save your Snippet in any folder. The Snippet file will be saved with the extension: ‘.snp’.

3.Click Save.
