Horizontal and vertical spacing between groups of blocks can be increased or decreased. ►To vary horizontal spacing: 1 1.Select a group of blocks: ▪To increase horizontal spacing, click the ‘Increase Horizontal Spacing’ button in the toolbar. ▪To decrease horizontal spacing, click the ‘Decrease Horizontal Spacing’ button in the toolbar. Horizontal or vertical spacing can also be completely removed. ►To remove vertical spacing: 2 1.Select a group of blocks. 2.Click the ‘Remove Vertical Space Between’ button in the toolbar. The blocks will be stacked in a vertical column without any space between the blocks. This command will not alter horizontal spacing. If blocks were initially separated by a horizontal space, the blocks will not be moved into a single stack although all vertical space between the blocks will be removed. Use the Align Vertically command to make a single stack. Horizontal spacing can be removed in a similar manner using the ‘Remove Horizontal Space Between’ button on the toolbar. |
