Changing the Network Variable Type

►To change the SNVT associated with the block:

1

1.Open the Tasks menu.

2.Click Change NV Type. If the Change NV Type link is properly displayed, the SNVT for the block can be changed. If, when the Tasks menu is selected, the Change NV Type link does not display, then the NV type cannot be changed.

3.Select a new SNVT from the Select Type list. Only SNVTs that are applicable to the block will be displayed.

4.Select the format for the units from the Select Format list.

5.Click OK.

Note: At the network level, network variables are represented as Metric (SI) values; however a Circon 400-series controller will automatically convert to the units selected for use in Catalyst.
